SOLVEWARD

Privacy notice.

Who is responsible?

Solveward, the independent consultancy operated by Brad and described on this website, is responsible for the use of information submitted through its enquiry forms. To contact Solveward about your information, use the privacy request form on this page. Requests go directly to Brad for review.

What the form collects

Your name, email address, message and request type are recorded with a reference number and submission date. Your email address is needed so that your request can be answered; it is not displayed publicly. Please do not include passwords, customer records, identity documents or other sensitive information.

Submitting is voluntary. The form cannot accept an enquiry without the required details. There is no mailing-list signup, advertising use or sale of your information.

Why it is used

Enquiry details are used to understand your request, respond and discuss possible work. The basis is Solveward’s legitimate interest in handling business enquiries. Where you ask about entering a contract personally, the relevant processing may instead be necessary to take steps at your request before a contract.

Privacy requests are handled to meet applicable data-protection obligations. Limited technical processing helps prevent abuse of the form, protect the service and investigate failures, based on the legitimate interest in running a secure website.

Where it goes

Vercel hosts the website. When the form is submitted, Supabase processes the message and stores it in Solveward’s database in London, UK. Access to stored enquiries is restricted to authorised administration; website visitors cannot read them. No message is sent to an AI model, and no automated decision is made about your enquiry.

Hosting providers also process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and request times. The form’s own abuse-prevention records use a keyed hash rather than storing the raw network address. A separate keyed hash of the submission helps detect retries.

The database’s UK location does not mean all processing stays in the UK: hosting, request handling, support and provider subprocessors may involve other countries. The providers’ data-processing terms describe their safeguards for international transfers, including contractual safeguards where applicable. See the Supabase data-processing terms and Vercel data-processing terms. You can ask about these arrangements using the privacy request form below.

How long information is kept

Enquiry and privacy-request records in this form’s database are scheduled for deletion after 180 days. Abuse-prevention counters expire after two days. If an enquiry becomes a client engagement, any separate contract or accounting records have their own retention requirements, explained as part of that engagement.

Provider backups and security logs follow the provider’s retention arrangements and may persist beyond removal from the live table. Information is not kept indefinitely just in case it is useful.

Your choices and rights

You can ask for access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate details, deletion or restriction where applicable, and portability where the relevant conditions apply. Some requests may require confirmation of your identity; do not send identity documents through the initial enquiry form.

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Use the privacy request form and explain what you would like to happen. Include a previous enquiry reference if you have one. Privacy requests are handled separately from sales enquiries.

You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies and browser storage

The site does not use analytics, advertising pixels or third-party font services, and does not itself set cookies or save form drafts in browser storage. Your browser may offer autofill or session restoration under its own settings. “Copy enquiry” copies text to your device’s clipboard.

The form confirms on screen when your message has been saved and gives you a reference. Brad reviews messages and replies using the email address you provide.
